2010 International Week

Cultural Exhibition: 4/25(Sun) 10:30 Grass Field

Each participating country will give us a taste of their culture by presenting their own traditional dresses, handicrafts, touristic attractions, games, and much more.

International Restaurant: 4/26 (Mon) 20:30 Shui Mu Cafeteria

The Shui Mu Cafeteria will be turned into the International Cafeteria for two hours, where staple food carefully crafted from our students ranging from France to Singapore will be available for purchase.

Friendship Soccer Match: 4/28 (Wed) 17:30 Soccer Field

The foreigners and overseas Chinese students will have a friendly match with the school soccer team, as a way to promote sportsmanship and respect between the two.

Movie and discussion: 4/29 (Thu) 20:00 Socrates Cafe 

 We will show the movie “The World is Flat”and invite the students to engage in a discussion session in English tackling any cultural issue related to the current topic of globalization.

Talent and Cultural Evening: 4/30 (Fri) 19:00 Zyxel Auditorium

The international students will present their talents on stage in an evening full of traditional dances, songs and drama! All the presentations are voluntarily prepared by our students.

In order to promote globalization and as a way to celebrate the increasing international presence in Tsing Hua University, the Foreign Student Association, Tsing Hua Friendship Ambassador Association and the Overseas Chinese Student Association have joined efforts to create the International Week, which will officially start on April 25^th under the slogan “Salam Harambe, let’s get  together as ONE).

Countries from all the continents will participate in this, the biggest international student activity of the year.
